Man oh man...this is really something. This Tundra thing is so feakin big.
The industry has proven once and for all that it can come together to create something really great....where the end result is bigger than its individual parts. This is truly AN INDUSTRY EVENT.
The excitement surrounding this is crazy. People are calling me trying to get tickets...I can't. It is SOLD OUT!!! The only way to score a ticket at this point is when there is a cancellation.

So.....I know it's gonna be tough to pick a bus to sit on. Each bus captain
really rocks, has tons of ability and experience...plus the talent that is going to be on these buses is just unstopable. This is gonna be like having the beatles, stones, springsteen, and the doors all on the same bill!!!

I am thrilled to be working with these guys. I have never worked with Tony before but he brings awsome experience to the table and I am psyched to see him in action. As for Chuck Williams...we always end up working together. He is possibly the greatest most personable entertainer we have in this business and any time he is around I know I only have to be half as good cause I know that he can pick up the slack.
That leaves Ed Gannon and he and I go back so far I can't remember how long it's been. Ed is one of the giants in this business. I wouldn't think twice about leaving any show I do in his capable hands and I have yet to find something he doesn't know about or can't do. Teaming up with him again after all these years will be a special moment for me.
The keynote is of course Brett Bertolino and who better to address a crowd this size? His show is the stuff legends are made of and who couldn't learn from him? I'll be happy just to stand on the stage next to him. This is gonna rock!!!

As for those of you attending...at least on my bus, it will be an interactive thing. I am running this like I run my Transworld seminars...only on wheels. I'm looking to you guys to be a part of this. I want you all to have questions that need answering, things you want to contribute, things you want us all to see...I want you guys to really be a part of this.
I have 3 hours to fill...and that's just one way!!! I plan on talking about so much it will make your heads spin.
Don't forget your best stories...we'll be taking this thing wherever it goes.
By the time we are done we will all know we have been a part of something special. I can feel the vibes already. I'm feelin a lot of love on these buses!!!
Try to bring some kind of name tags so us bus captains can have some idea who you all are. I mean...we are talking more than 250 people and that's without the acting and co-ord staffs...we are gonna need some help.

Hey...we are only days away from our last Chicago Show...let's make sure it's the biggest and baddest we have ever seen.

Sadly, I won't be attending... SO I WANT TO SEE PICTURES!!! This does sound really awesome though. As a broke college student, I couldn't afford to go. LOL! I'm sure this is going to be one for the record books!

See you all in Chicago... Have fun! -Tyler

Imagine 250 people filling those buses, Rich Hanf being the ride's entertainment..and as he looks out over the humanity ...he sees..
everyone wearing photographic cardboard masks of Leonard Pickel!
Wake up Rich! It's only a dream!
What a movie ending! One man's sheer terror in a dream sequence!

Only you Jim could come up with a scenario that horrofying...but it's one with a happy ending because by the time I was finished everyone would have turned their masks around to show the picture of my smiling face on the other side. :D

Maybe taping each bus ride and events along the way and putting out a 10 disc DVD set including all the bus ride talk along with the haunt stops!
Hehehe...what a project!

I would hate to be the film editor on that video project, it would alot of work!
John Floyd filmed a bus ride to Ravens Grin many years ago, set it to music, it was quite entertaining, of course there was no blizzard, no bus sliding in the ditch, no cannibalism of the passengers, so it wasn't that edgy or exciting.
The funniest part was when they first pulled into Mount Carroll and stopped to ask directions. The two guys they happened to stop were not our typical citizens , more like Goomer & Gomer, it was funny.(and they are REAL!)

Scott Broad from Haunted Media AND John Floyd will be filming the entire event from start to finish! Talks are currently happening about releasing a DVD about the tour! I fly to Wisconsin tonight to get ready for Thursday and I look forward to seeing everyone. Dress warm, bring your cameras, have some questions ready for the Bus Captains and we are also having a get together at the Crowne on Wednesday night for tour attendees (around 7:30 pm)

Rich, we have some sweet nametags for everyone on the buses, you will be able to see who you are talking to no problem.

We have alot in store for everyone so get some sleep the night before!

Buses begin loading at 7:30 am and leave at 8:00 am sharp! DO NOT BE LATE! Buses will load in the turn around in front of the entrance to the convention center.

p.s. So far the forecast is great and we will be doing our best to heat everything but we still encourage you to DRESS WARM!

The tour has been designed to be all inclusive, only money you will need is if you plan on bidding on some of the incredible items we will be auctioning off before dinner!

All Inclusive.........yep......that means OPEN BAR at Terror on the Fox during the Social Gathering and Dinner!

YIKES!

I wish you all safe travels and we'll see you soon.

I also wanted to let everyone know that in addition to our incredible Keynote Speaker Brett Bertolino, I have Kimberly and Heather from Oneida Casino (Terror on the Fox Title Sponsors) coming and Kimberly will be talking about marketing and sponsorship and what they expect in a letter and or potential event that they sponsor. Grab your notebooks for this one!

Take care,

They are talking 40"s by next weekend. Not Vegas temps but at least not the 10 degrees we have been getting. Yesterday and today were warm enough to melt some of this crud we call snow!

That's good to hear Kevin! That's the weather I've gotten used to here in Eureka Springs.

Yeah, I checked accuweather.com the other day to see what the temps were gonna be. It even predicts that it's going to be 52 on Saturday!!
We've had temps in the 70's here for the past few days, but 50's is a lot warmer than what I expected there.

So....
you have snow on the ground? Does that mean I should be wearing boots?

Empress,

We will do everyhing in our power to make sure there is no snow in the direct walking areas of the tour. I would suggest some comfortable shoes and some warm socks. Looking forward to meeting you and hope you have a great time!

Take care,

When I was in LA in 1969 it was 60 degrees and everyone said it was "Winter" they put away the bikes and convertibles! hahahah!
Illinois was maybe 10 degrees then, THAT is WINTER!
Yesterday with heavy work boots on and two pair of socks, my toes would go numb after being outside in no time at all. (Of course I was not walking just standing running a grinder)
"Open Toes"?
They turn blue, break open from frostbite!
Somebody in town has the personalized license plate "No Toes", maybe I just figured out why?
