The Ghost Ship finally does...

Armed with a lot of good information and advice from a lot of good people on this board, they plan to be bigger and scarier than last year (if that's possible) so please give them a look.

And if you do have a FB page, post it here so we can all connect and keep up with everyone else...

Thanks.

This may seem like a silly question, but I was going to start a Facebook Page and when it asked for a category I was at a loss for what to choose. What do you guys put you haunt Pages under? I checked under the Entertainment category, but there were subcategories that just didn't fit lol. Thanks in advance.

Facebook is a great way to stay in touch with fans of your haunt... we are going to put more effort into our page by uploading different aps and things.

One of the problems with tracking traffic from our site to yours now is a lot of people elect to click on your facebook link rather than your website now which can't be tracked from your end. How much traffic does your haunt get from the facebook opposed to your normal website hard to say...

But now with facebook you can add apps to sell tickets online so who knows where this goes but right now its pretty cool.

I would say myspace is dead as a doornail. I would say twitter is next to useless for a haunt owner, however twitter is the best for a celeb to tell their fans what they do every second of the day. But for a haunt worthless.

The first thing I did was start a FB page for the haunts.

We just started it at the beginning of the year and working on getting more people to follow us. I also have the main website although I am not happy with it right now. I will be investing more in the website after the seaason is over for next year.

As a marketing professional, FB and Twitter are the main tools of the trade these days. I haven't started the twitter page yet but it is coming soon!
