Ontario was home to THE finest haunted house in California. The Haunted Vineyard was Disney quality (the creators have done furnishings for several Disney rides here and overseas).

Sad to say, progress rears the ugly head and the classic 1920's Guasti marketplace building that housed the Haunted Vineyard for several years will fall to the bulldozer and become host to the typical office building complex.

For those of you who were lucky enough to experience it, it was fantastic.

Sigh.

We can always hope that when they pour the new concrete for the office building that the Mafia decides to hide some bodies in the footings and the office building will actually then have some ghosts.
Would this sort of make up for the loss? Probably not.

No it wouldnt but the place is pretty haunted all its own. I still remember someone sensitive who damn near freaked out going in there.

Looks like my own house is haunted again. Guess I attract 'em....

Hopefully someone got a ton of pics maybe even some video to preserve it's image?

Haunted Media DVD Magazine Issue four had a great segment on it.

It is very sad to see it go so early, at only its 3rd season it was better than most haunts I have ever seen. Hopefully the guys at CIFX go onto bigger things.

They will be. So far, I have 3 trailer loads from there, going for the midway wallwork tomorrow night. I am also discussing putting up a tribute website. It deserves it. We will be working on it after everything is packed away.
