Stay away from Circus Circus, they bait and switch, drop reservations and have a Slum area that they dump one and two nighters at. They are a terrible hotel, dirty, and very undesireable in my opinion. We love the Rio or Orleans.

PYRO, Taxi service from one side of Vegas strip to the other will run you 7.00 bucks, thus making it the most affordable way to travel, unless you want to walk which isnt that bad either, unless you want to walk at night and can handle 7824639468969566378956785623789 illegals flicking Porno call girl cards in your face.........

If we all start a thread and get in one Hotel we can have a great meet or meat and greet time . It is always better to put a face with a name. Sharing can be so much , well your own mind can finish

Las Vegas is gonna be great. Have been there half a dozen times and never had a bad time yet. And nothing can be more expensive then flying to and staying in Chicago.

I should be fun. Lots of things to do there.

Hotels are expensive :( Finally found that the Stratosphere Tower Hotel is only $60 a night. Most everyone else wants $100 or more.

I heard the imperial was a good hotel and close to the airport and convention center. We are going to check it out. $88.00 a night for a delux room.

If you don't plan on spending in time in your room .... other then sleep and quick shower ... circus circus was like $35 a night.

But they haven't been a 'nice' hotel in 20 or so years.

I know we will be staying at Stratosphere. Like webby said, only $60 a night, except for friday and saturday before TW, it was like $180 so we are staying somewhere else those two nights.

Same with us .. the Virgin River in Masquette. It's a little extra drive (45 extra min), but still cheaper then in Vegas on a weekend.

We just booked hotels a couple days ago. Got rooms at Planet Hollywood hotel for only $99.00 per night. If you look around on things like travelzoo and stuff like that you can find deal after deal. I know one hotel that is always offering deals is Monte Carlo.

The deals are out there just look around!

Does anyone have any ideas on a great hotel to stay?
My wife and I are going down to find new vendors for our business and we need a hot hotel to stay at.

Also, what's the deal with the Sunday Party?

Thanks

Just in case anybody that is attending the Vegas show is not familiar with the location of your hotel in correlation with the Sands Expo Center below is a link to a map of Vegas hotels. The Venetian Hotel is adjacent to the Sands Expo Center. You can literally walk from inside the hotel to the convention area. May be priced on the higher end of things ($179+) but every room is a suite that can accommodate up to 4 persons very comfortably. So splitting the room between 4 can make the price attractive. Keep in mind staying here also will save you a bundle in taxi fares getting to and from the Expo! But on the flip side if you have a room rate around the $100 mark or below your doing great. The Mirage and Treasure Island are directly across the street from The Venetian with easy access by foot through the Venetian to the Expo. The Imperial Palace neighbors the Venetian which also would allow for easy access by foot. Keep in mind that distances on the strip do not seem that far since the hotels are so large but once underway one quickly realizes that they are indeed farther away than they appear! Bring comfortable shoes for some marathon walking!
