I don't know how many of you are familiar with the Instructables site.

It's basically an entire site dedicated to building weird stuff!!!
People build things then post a complete How-To.

Ran across this one that was interesting:

http://www.instructables.com/id/Mad-Scientists-Light/

I'd suggest if you haven't yet to sign up as a member.
http://www.instructables.com/
You get a regular email highlighting certain topics
or new posts that you can link to.

It's just a cool site featuring people with WAY too much time on their hands!!!

Anyone else have any other cool, unusual , but possibly helpful site?

That is a great site. Like you said, too many of the posters have too much time to spare. Many of the projects have unnecessary steps and parts. Fortunately, there are usually two or more ways of making any project. Just do a search and find someone else who built it the faster, easier way.

I like glancing over the site just as an idea generator. Sometimes a project can be literally followed, but like you say, many times you can do it
quicker or easier. Or I look at a project and it makes me think of a different way to do a different effect I was working on.
