As always we work on our site to be the best haunted house directory in the WORLD... which it is by a long shot. Last year not only did Hauntworld.com ALONE beat all other haunt related search sites with more traffic, site popularity and time spent on the sites, not to mention the most press coverage a site could ever want but now we are going mobile. The new Hauntworld Mobile will only allow people to find 5 different things... haunts, vendors, featured articles, news and videos. They will find haunts by zip code and the first ones that will appear are only FEATURED haunt profiles, second setting will find ONLY haunts who have trackback code on their site.

So someone can log into hauntworld using a mobile phone and within two seconds find the closest haunts to them just like that... as it stands if you go to Hauntworld a guest can find themselves on your website from ours within TWO clicks, with the mobile version its as simple as putting in a zip code and boom you are there.

As you know we added facebook to Hauntworld last year and now we send people to your facebook or twitter page in addition to your website... make it hard to keep track where all we send business to your attraction, but we feel that we need to provide our guests with the most information about your events as we can. We will continue to improve our system over the next few weeks.

If you want to advertise with us you can contact Patti at 314 629 3940 or blacklightminigolf@sbcglobal.net

You can also click on our advertisement page here: http://cdn.hauntworld.com/userfiles/File/hwcom_banner_ads_2012.pdf

If you have any suggestions about our new mobile site let us know.

We're excited to see the app in action. We'll be a test subject to the trial run of the app to see how it functions! :D

Will the app be available to iPhone and Android phones?

Will you be able to use h.w chat? Everything else seems to work for me but the h.w chat room. Would like that to work with android if possible.
Thanks

HordeOfUndead I believe that Larry is just describing a regular mobile enabled website and not a standalone app. So if someone visits the HauntWorld website from a mobile web browser, they will get the features he is discussing.

Here is a screen shot of the new Hauntworld Mobile... as always we are going ALL OUT ON THIS not just some silly thing and call it a full blown mobile site, I'm doing the whole nine yards. This mobile version will do just about everything you'll see... it will however find people with featured listings first. So call patti today and get an upgrade.

Awesome! Yet another reason, I'm glad we upgraded to a feature listing in 2012!

We will have this working very very soon... the purpose is for the haunted house guest who wants to find attractions. It will be a zip code finder and will find only featured haunts. It will do a lot of very cool things can't wait to get it online. We are also working on another top secret function ... hopefully everything will be done prior to Halloween season.

It's got a zoom error that needs to be fixed. When you do a search for a haunt, the view is not scaled correctly and is zoomed into the first two entries. Need to get that fixed. Using an iPhone
