Hey All!

So I'm looking into making a few gory stuff for the haunt, and to save money I'm going to try and attempt to do it myself, does anyone on here have a cheap source to some foam latex? I've only worked with it once before, I'm good with regular latex, but I need to actually fill stuff and I need something more flexible than great stuff.

Any and all help would be greatly appreciated! :)

Are you filling something? Don't use foam latex use flexible polyfoam.

Bobby, A/B foam is the way to go. Foam latex is expensive and tricky to use. Try this-

Foam latex is mostly used, I think, for makeup effects and prosthetics. For props and the sort a good rising A/B foam like Allen suggested is the way to go. Foam latex is VERY tricky to work with in large quantities and if the weather or the mix is off...your screwed. -Tyler

Yes, I use it all the time. Bity is a great company to order from. Bity also has a new amazing self skinning 10lb foam
If you prefer smooth on, then flex foam it 3 or 5 is awesome.
If you have any questions with it just give me a call,

Thanks Allen, much appreciated.

I like Smooth On but it is a bit too costly compared to this prop foam. It will be painted, but I could always put down a layer of regular makeup latex, paper tissue, and another layer of latex if the paint eats up the foam. (I doubt that'll happen).

If you mix some soap in you can make it foamy.

Hell house, what are you talking about? Have you done this? What did you use this concoction for and did it dry?
