Dose anybody know of any other Haunts that will be open during this years show, around the St.Louis area?
I would love to be able to catch some of the smaller Haunts in the area while we are there......I remember seeing some flyers in previous years but wasn't able to make them.....or Haunt related parties?

Mr. Bills Thrills in Troy, MO has been open in previous years, but no official announcement of them being open for this year. Same for Greg Allen's haunt Fear Fest and Necropolis which were both in Columbus, MO (I believe).

Obviously The Darkness will be open and the Insane Shane party will be going on as well. Otherwise there's usually tons of people out and about the town doing dinner and hanging out at bars all weekend. There's definitely not a short supply of things to do!

Fearfest will not be open for TW this year. Last year we operated our Zombie Safari Paintball down at Creepyworld to save you the drive or bus ride to Columbia Mo.
We will not be doing it this year.
We stripped out all of our attractons this winter and there is no way we could possibly be ready for March. We are doing massive overhauls to everything we have this year and are starting over from scratch with new themes, attractions and que line areas.
At the present time we are working hard on our Zombie Safari Paintball TW booth getting it ready for the show. We are taking it to the next level with a new line of trailers, animations and costumes to fill the needs of our customers.
I dont think Necropolis will be open in March either but I haven't talked to Bill to be sure.
I talked to Mr. Bills Thrills last week. He had mentioned he was considering opening. I just text him to see if he had made a decision but he has not replied to me yet.
Thats all I can tell you right now.

Thanks,
Greg

Any questions feel free to email mrbill@mrbillsthrills.com or mrbillsthrills@yahoo.com

Will general admission tickets be available without going on the bus and getting food? I would imagine them being a lot cheaper.

Hey guys I just talked to Mr Bill. (He works 2nd shift so I keep him posted by texting if anyone has any questions I keep him up to date)
He said tickets will be just $20 if you drive yourself. Bring your TW ID and get a FREE upgrade speed pass. Your TW ID also allows you to bid on most everything in the haunt.
He will be closing his doors after TW so this is your chance to get those slightly used discounted items you have been looking for.
Concessions will also be available at the haunt.

Your not doing the paintball at Creepy World this year Greg? I thought that was a success last year? I wanted to check it out but didnt make it. Was hoping it would be this year? Hmm? Wanted to see the behind the scenes on Ravens Mansion as well. Just my luck!

The city musuem might be cool if you were under 5 foot and less than 100 pounds. If not I would skip it unless you like to live vicariously through people that are those dimensions. Also, don't bring your kids unless you aren't concerned about their safety.

Ive heard good things and bad things about city museum. The thing is I live close enough I can go to that anytime of the year. It is not Halloween or haunt related in my book. Im not saying it isnt creative. But I have heard it is dangerous to a certain degree and im not sure I would want to turn my kids loose in it. Just my two cents. When i come to Transworld my focus is on everything Halloween related. City Museum isnt to me.

Damon, we will not be doing Zombie Safari Paintball at Creepyworld this year. It was a sucess but we are consentrating on our TW booth this year.
We had a great time showing haunters the basics of how our attraction could work in a small area. We just dont have the time to do it again.
We have expanded our product line for animatronics specific to our attractions and we are going to be previewing a new line of costumes and masks made to fit the needs of our customers. These costumes and masks are designed by Allen Hopps and we are pleased to add them to our great products line.
As far as Mr Bills Thrills, Yes this is his last show from what he told me. He decided to call it quits after Transworld and will be selling many of his props and accessories after he closes . This is a great chance to get a good deal on some goodies he will be letting go of. I hate to see him close but he has reasons for doing so.

Sorry to hear of any haunted house closing. That sucks!

As for Creepyworld we are doing MASSIVE overhaul out there and we actually already did a lot of the work. We worked out there for about a month after Halloween season ended. We moved stuff around and came up with an additional 20,000 square feet or so to add more attractions. We will have a total of ELEVEN attractions in 2013 at Creepyworld.

It was offered to Greg to use but its really not set up right because we moved so much stuff around. Wouldn't have the same feel...

Maybe next year we'll do some sort of tour of the place just walk around or something.

OKAY , since a lot of folks are finding out anyway , here is the OFFICIAL announcement :
Mr Bills Thrills Haunt will be closing the doors after Scream Break in March .
Scream Break is March 8th & 9th , and we will be taking bids on props , sets , decor ,
& equipment during this time .
All items will go to the highest reasonable bidder .
I am saddened in doing this , but the time has come due to health and financial reasons
that I give up and slow down a bit .
I will miss it tremendously , but I'll always have the memories of ALL those that worked here
& those that attended year after year and made it what it has come to be .

Yes , by all means , drive out , stop & grab a bite on the way , or we will have our caterer on site as well , and yes , it is much cheaper , $20.00 for tickets at the door , and we are now set up for credit cards onsite , which is why we are not selling advance tickets other than for the bus tour .

Mr Bills Thrills is an intense trip through The Time Zone, The Haunted Barn, Cavern of Doom, The Black Zone, & Trail of Terror

Comments from Attendees of our 2012 Tour

>My wife and I really enjoyed your haunt. Once I entered your haunt I gave it my full attention , your haunt shows what can be
accomplished with GREAT Actors. Your actors were giving it 100% and it showed. Please keep up the good work.
I know you do it for your community and that is a great thing. The joy all of you bring to others is PRICELESS.

> I particularly liked the guy with the meat hook and the chains across his chest. He wouldn't get out of my face,
then he came on the bus to taunt us all again before we left. I am a haunted attraction actor and that is what I would have done.
What a trooper. I got a real kick out of him.

> Was great, 2 thumbs up. - Wilson was fabulous!

> I just wanted to let you know how much we enjoyed your attraction this weekend. Your Cue Line Actors were the BEST
I’d seen anywhere in a long time, and that is what makes a GREAT haunted house! Especially the Tall Creepy one who got
on the bus with us at the end!! Your haunt was definitely more “our style”. I love the more realistic and outdoor haunts.
Happy Haunting for many years to come.....we hope to be just as successful as you all one day!

> Thanks again for opening your haunt to us during the show. I can tell you have put a lot of work and lot of pride into
Mr. Bill's Thrills and it was not unnoticed.

>We had a fun time at your farm. Enjoyed your staff and also the little ones. They were so cute in scarying us.
Future haunters - which is how we feel about our kids.

Yes unfortunately, Mr Bills Thrills is closing the doors, and almost everything is up for sale .
It is actually more of a sealed bid type auction rather than a silent auction
Interested parties will get a bid slip with ticket purchase , they can fill it out as they go through , then turn back in their highest bids . At the end of the event , all bids will be gone through & tallied , then winning bidder will be notified !
We are holding on to a couple of items , but they were not in pictures .
We will have a few items that we are not using , set up in ticket booth on a silent auction basis .
Some of the other items pictured will still be in storage , but will have pics of those for sealed bids also .
After this event , anything remaining will be posted for sale through several of the haunt forum websites .
Sorry for any misunderstanding ,
Thank You , Hauntingly , Mr Bill
