Hi there. I haven't really done a "big" display with lighting, and props at my parents house(17 years old) My parents love halloween just as much as I do, and said if i put together a display, the I can do one. So what I am asking here, is, what are the most important things needed for a yard display. I am only a stuent, and don't got alot of money, but I got a good job, and making more each week. I know I will need some fog lights, and mabey black lights as well. I got a fog machine, and built a toe pincher coffin last year. I am also looking to build some additional props this year, and am looking for suggestions. I will try and post a picture of my house, which may give someone some ideas. I live in a town of 8,000 people, and mabey 10 people decorate their yard. So it wouild be cool to be one of the only houses on town that does. Any and all suggestions are very helpful, and appreciated.

Thank you,

Dustyn

You can't go wrong with a grave yard, you can make tomb stones for next to nothing. Making a few open graves will cost nothing and then put lights down inside. If you can't dig up the yard then pile up stones or dirt. If you pile up stones put some pvc in the pile and then hook up your foger so the fog comes out of the stones. Look around in dumsters for old wood, you would not believe some of the things you can find. Good luck, I hope it is a hit!

They are actually buding a house right next door to me, and there is a 12/12 foot dumspter with drywall, 2x4\s some wiring, plywood, everything. I will have to go and take a lok in there.

Paint a very official looking sign for the yard saying ,"Caution, Indian Burial Ground Plot"
"How do you know it's an Indian burial plot?"
"How!"
"I mean how do you know it?"
"How!"
"Will you answer me ?"
"How? The whole thing is a plot." (To drive you to distraction!)
Clean the concrete driveway then take black electrical tape and fake some big cracks by sticking the tape down and sharply turning the tape like a lightning bolt zig-zagging it back and forth.
If you had a small bush or two or any yard object that looks as if it belongs there(or some of those plastic rock speakers) and have the moaning and the chanting next to the driveway and most might think it is coming from those deep, deep cracks

Thats a good idea Jim. How convincing do the "tape cracks" look, and what coilour light would you suggest shining on the driveway? Would and indian graveyard be good for the front lawn?
