So most of the haunts don't allow cigarettes in there haunt for safety reasons. But as for my self I am a e cig User. Now would you allow your actors or customers use e cigarettes in your haunt?

Nope, not in ours!
First you are going to waste my security guys time by chasing you down.
Next, John Q. Public sees you 'smoking' and figures it's OK.
Lastly is every single one of the people we have caught with e cigs in the haunt were jerks.
Your mileage may vary :)

Yup, Karl just about summed it up COMPLETELY.
If anyone wants to smoke, you have the parking lot and can stand next to your car and puff away, but once you step in line, you're just gonna have to resist the urge until you're outta here! :)

And actors, forgot about that part of your post, are allowed to smoke outside in an area where the public cannot see them. I give the actors breaks periodically, (I have a few roamers that spend the night giving out waters and relieving people for bathroom breaks or whatever for up to 5 minutes). I am all volunteer staffed so I don't treat them like slaves, but they know not to abuse my leniency and to always make sure they are not a negative reflection of the haunt. What the public sees is the only thing that matters! In an 18 day season, a few bad social networking reviews can really do some damage!

"no smoking, it's very dangerous when you go passed the Napalm exhibit!"
I have to agree. If you go to ANY venue the same rule is applied, simply because of appearance.

Actors asked last season. No means no. And much like previous posters...we have breaks where actors do it out of public sight.

We treat e-cigs just like regulars cigs. Only in designated areas. Frankly a lot of these e cigs have awful smells, I mind them more than regular cigs.
