Anyone know of a company that sells a pneumatic/electric system to drop or move a floor?

We built one of these two years ago. It was 6' x 8' floor that was hinged on one end, and the other end dropped 12". Victims entered from the hinged side, saw a scene in front of them that distracted them, and the floor would drop via pneumatic cylinders, leaning them in the "forward direction" towards the next doorway (which open just as the floor dropped).

It was a simple thing to construct; we build the floor deck out of 2x10's at 16" o.c. with 3/4 plywood flooring. The hinges were 4" heavy duty things we got at Home Depot, I think we used six of 'em on the hinged side. On the end that dropped, we had four air pistons (12" throw, I think they were 3" diameter).

When the victims entered, the floor was up, with about 80 psi into the pistons. We manually operated it for safety - the operator was looking thru a half-silvered mirror and flipped the switch to drop it. We actually had to drive it down by switching the air to the other side of the pistons, because without doing this it came down too softly. (our pneumatic guy called 'em "five way valves"???) It easily held 10 people when up and felt solid; it lasted thru thousands of up/down cycles before the first minor repair was needed. Oh, we had to be careful to cover the gaps that were exposed when the floor was down, so no fingers or toes would get crushed when the floor came back up.

And it worked really well - we got lots of screams from it! And no injuries or falls - just fun!

"Want to ride my new elevator?"
("Elevator?")
I would make eye contact with almost everyone standing there within the little rectangle..then I would bend my own knees and pretend the floor was falling.
Almost everyone would be scurrying and grabbing for something to hold on to even though the only thing moving was me.
Price? Almost priceless! Memories? YES!!!
