Awsome! I wish I could see it live under show lighting. How did you age the walls like that?

We use a wet blending technique using watered down paint sprayed with a hudson sprayer.

Last Sunday award winning independent film maker John Pickle (http://www.russellmovie.com) shot a music video at Nightshade Manor. The Splints, a Memphis based band, released their first EP, which was recorded at the famous Sun Studios, in August. John was hired to produce, write and direct the bands first music video and he decided to use Nightshade Manor as the backdrop!

I will post the video once it is out of post production.

This is a photo of our kitchen. I snapped this pic with my cell phone while the crew was lighting the scene.

Larry and Halloween Productions did the walls.

That's only partially true. They did not build all of the walls. Actually about 50% are HP. My team built the rest using techniques similar to HP.

Almost looks like we built that stuff... did we?

Wow looks nice! For a minute I thought it was the old Tombstone attraction I sold. Looks very very nice! Was that the old Tombstone?

Even if we did build a lot of that attraction I must say you've done a first class job with what you've done there. I give you all the credit! When I first saw those pictures I thought it was the Darkness... I was like hold the phone there. LOL

Again great job!

Larry,

Thanks!

It is, or should I say was, Tombstone and The Darkness is my inspiration.

I am a curious person. What are the dark dashes on the floor in this picture (and also in some of the others)? The ones near the feet of the skeleton sitting on the couch?

Those are slots in the steel floor drain covers.

first off loved it all and what i am going to point out people wont even notice.

when doing the walls and layering plaster lath so to speak maybe unpronounced line would be less man made.

but for wha tit is worth awesome work and destressing.
