The Brit who made the helmet for the troopers in court facing Lucas.
24 Billion (with a "B"!) dollars in Star Wars stuff already sold world-wide.
Who will win?
Whoever wins, "May the force be with them."
A current Yahoo news item.

Nice... Wow, what I would do with $24 BILLION... That's crazy!
Speaking of helmets, has anyone heard of the "Vader Project", I think it's called? A bunch of different artists using blank Vader helmets as canvas. It was a really cool idea, but it makes me wonder how they got around all of the Lucas copyright B.S.?
Gris Grimly (Mad Creator Productions (http://www.madcreator.com/)) did one with a villain theme that was awesome. *cough* Uhm... ya know... If yer into that whole Star Wars thing.

I'm sure Lucas loves fan art as it keeps the force alive. Now mass producing some design on a helmet for sale would be another thing. Usually art competitions result in raising money for some charity so then no monetary gain from publishing pictures of the art, thus a status of na na na boo boo is established.
So in this court in Britain will they show up with a Nazi helmet and say YOU Created THIS!?! Balif haul him away!

The other trick is director suggested looks and having 5 or more artist do the concept drawings, some one entirely else doing the sculpt so the end result is this guy is claiming credit for 20 people's work as his own and there is an implied ownership before he got a paycheck so too bad.
This kind of sounds like the IAHA! Only no one got a paycheck.

"The Rich get Richer, and the Poor get Children."
Village of the Dammed!
Right out my back door is where the dam was built in 1842.
I was told I had the best Haunted House, by a Dammed Site.

My Great-Uncle told me the 1842 dam was a "crib" Dam. He never told me if the infants were left in the cribs or not when they threw them into the deep water.
