I can't use Photoshop worth crap. It's so damn confusing, but I did sign up for a computer art class, so that should help...

Anyway, nice work. It looks really good.

Nice work.
Since I was in 3rd grade before I learned how to tie my shoes and 16 before I learned how to not drown(that's called "Swimming", sort of..) and recently I just learned how to wipe my butt,(It's all "In-the-wrist") I won't be showing any "puter" artwork, no sir! I haven't got that much time left to figure something like that out!
Nice work.

Thanks. I've been using PhotoShop since its inception. Before I started my new business I was making a living as a graphic artist. So there's a lot of experience behind my artwork. Learn to use the layers, masks and filters and there's no limit to what you can do.

thanks for the advice. My big mistake is that i tried doing everything in one layer instead of different layers... If ya got any more tips you can share without taking away from your business please do share.

Hi Scaremaster....I LOVE that picture!! I have PhotoShop 7.0 and use it mostly for photo editing. I can't find that texture you used for your pic. I don't see anything called Desert Land or Cracked Ground. Do you have a different version of PhotoShop?

Thanks!
Nancy

If I were headed up to the Show earlier, I would be happy to give a seminar.

Hmmmm.. Maybe I will make a website if there is enough interest in it.

I purchased the domain a long time ago planning to do some development work. Maybe I can change it into something else....

I would suggest that you make your shadowman a little more transparent. Also add a little perspective to the building to create a sense of movement. You might think about using liquify to stretch his arms.

alright.
and the house is the logo, i didnt want it to be too much for simplicity when doing printing and other means of printing

Steve, thanks for the awesome book cover design! I can't wait to get the book finished and into print. I'm still hoping to have finished writing it by the end of this month and then I hope to have it published soon thereafter. You do awesome work. Thanks!

One of the ways that I have learned to use photoshop is by doing tutorials on special effects. Not only do you leaarn how to do a neat effect, but you also tend to learn some nifty trick and how the tools interact with each other which will help to expand your knowledge.

If you are looking for good tutorials I reccommend the following 3 sites:

http://www.thewebmachine.com
http://www.n-sane.net/tutorials.php
http://www.eyesondesign.net/pshop/tuts.htm

I particularly like The Web Machine. I will say this though, many of these sites tend to concentrate on techno, industrial, and futuristic looking effects. But once you start to understand the why and how these things work you should be able to apply them to other effects.

Can you not buy PS7.0 anymore ... do you need Photoshop CS??

Playing with some of the websites panicbutton listed I might be able to figure this out :) I doubt I'll be as good as you all, but I like to be able to play

Uhh Scaremaster, that "girl" you grabbed from the net has a striking resemblance to my ex-wife Pamela just before she got her "woman time".

You know her "."
