Hey everyone,

I posted about my Ambient Haunt Moods a while back, well, now it's finished and I want some honest feedback on it. From quality of sounds to pricing. this is a trial run and I'm hoping the pdf info and the sounds are in order. I was shooting for my first haunted soundtrack (Haunt-track) for haunts, Pro and home haunters as well as for easy listening. I honestly don't know what to expect that is why I'm releasing this volume free (try before you buy kinda thing) so you can test it out before laying a dime for the pack if you like it.

Let me give you some background on where I come from first... I'm a haunt lover. I don't currently own a haunt, but one day I would like to. I'm into PC game sound design mainly doing Ambient sound packs (listed in the PDF in this pack) and I mainly have a strong reputation for setting ambient moods for game worlds and levels. this is my first move to doing haunt sound track stuff. I strive for a moody feel in all my tracks but I honestly don't know how it will come off to all you guys. that is why I want some feedback on this pack.

I have 2 and 3 volumes already done for my Ambient Haunt collection, just awaiting feedback from the real pros, you guys. Totally free to try out and give it a whirl. now, about the pricing in the pack... the prices I listed in the pack are roughly a steping stone, but are not in stone. I want feedback for that as well to let me know if that's too high or low for custom packs. Honestly, in the haunt market I'm not sure, but for game packs, a custom pack for about 6-12 tracks would run about $299 a pack roughly, depending on what they wanted... Ambient moods are usually about that price from the game making arena. Moving into haunting, I have been away from the industry for about 7 years now so I'm not on top of current pricing.

I have worked in a few haunts back in Ca many years ago when I was younger, and one in St Louis about the time of the 2nd year of the Darkness there. I was the audio section specialist in the haunt I worked for there in St Louis for the season. Also, have created designs and layout ideas for jaycees in cali years back. Ok, with that, I give you the first in a 3 volume pack, Ambient Haunt Moods Volum 1...

Hope you enjoy, and if you don't I'm sorry! :-D

All feedback, good and bad and creative welcomed...

I'm a little confused by that site. Is the download supposed to be free? There doesn't appear to be an option to download it....are you supposed to download their program there?

You'd have much more feedback if the files are easily accesible. Perhaps a haunt owner will let you store them on their website if the files aren't gigantic.

Thanks for the reply,

The files are released as shareware, if you like the package before ordering, then you can order it if not, just delete it from your computer. The package is an Ambient Haunt package ment to be played through scenes in a haunt or in a yard haunt in certain scene settings. Its an audio package that is being tested out to the haunt public to see if this kind of package would fly or not.

To access the Zip file, when you click on the file link, at the top right it asks you to enter a 3 digit code, enter it and hit submit. It will ask you if you would like to join, hit no, and wait I believe its 45 seconds and the download begins. When you get the file, unzip it to a directory and click on the files to listen to them. If you enjoy or hate the package after listening to the tracks, post here or email me. I'm looking for feedback on the pack as you already know.

The Megaupload site is confusing yes, but for now that is all I know where to upload the file pack to. If someone else up here knows where I can mirror the pack off to a new server, please feel free and let me know or put the files on that other server. I'm looking for a place to put the files, but right now that is the only place I know that don't charge for being up there. Will look around and get a new easier server next week and will repost the package then.

Thanks and hope that helps explain how to download some. If you need more help, please feel free to email me. thanks much for posting.

PS: Yeah the package is about 35 megs in size, so pretty small actually. If a haunt owner would like to donate me some space to put it and the others up I'd be more then happy to talk about it... any takers? I'm just looking to try to get known doing ambient Haunt sound packs thanks for any help...

Is the new link to the pack. It's easier to download, just paste this in your browser bar and scroll to the bottom where it says download, it don't get much easier then that. Hope that helps... thanks for all comments.
