The deadline for the Midwest Haunters Convention Ms. Scary Midwest and the Bloody Mary Monster Make Up Wars has been EXTENDED to Friday April 3rd.

Applications, photos and or videos for Ms. Scary Midwest must be e-mailed to Kathy@midwesthaunters.com (Kathy@midwesthaunters.com?subject=MHC%20Contest%2 0Interest) by Friday April 3rd. Midwest Haunters Convention 2009

About the Bloody Mary Monster Make Up Wars: This contest will offer contestants the chance to compete for the title of creating the Scariest Monster! Five teams will compete (1 model and 2 make-up artists) with identical make-up supplies to create a monster! The teams will have 30 minutes to complete their monster from the neck up.

About the Ms Scary Midwest Pageant: Eight contestants will via for the coveted title of Scariest Female Character in the Midwest. Contestants will have the opportunity to perform on stage and be judged by industry representatives and celebrities.

About the Midwest Haunters Convention: The Midwest Haunters Convention is a weekend event planned for Haunted Attraction Producers, Actors, and Home Haunters. Our goal is to provide you with educational seminars and workshops with experienced presenters, a 75+ vendor tradeshow with the latest in haunt offerings, and place to network with others in the industry during our fun social activities. If you are involved in a haunted house in any way then MHC is the place to be!

Barry? I may have a few blank spots in my memory from being in OHIO...BUT

How are people chosen for the other contest?

That is still up to the judges right?

I remember being on stage for something with half of the guys we brought 2 years ago.....it is a blur though!!!

That was the scariest costume contest. Participants in that are invited from the people in attendance at the masquerade party.

The Makeup Wars teams and Ms Scary Midwest entrants are chosen from all who register by a panel of judges as well.

Sheldon, I think you guys would make a great team. Stay tuned for more details.

This is one part of MHC I really don't do much with. I am too busy with the other stuff. LOL
