You're lucky to live in Lexington; a very easy place to live. My little brother has been there since he started undergrad. He's had an option on two lower arena seats for the last two seasons, both times I went, we lost. Once to Vandy, once to South Carolina. I stopped going to games at memorial gym here in Nashville, UK lost every time I went!

This could be a very exciting year! I forget what home is like until I go to Lexington, it's like being in the center of what home has always been.

Great location for your haunt! I'll be at Fall Keeneland, may try to see your haunt.:-D

Just let me know, I'll make sure I'm around to show you the haunt. We're half a block from Rupp Arena! We're right downtown!

...and yes, this year's basketball with Coach Cal is going to be awesome! We only now have the best recruiting class of ALL basketball history! -Tyler

I think you mean how Memphis is under NCAA investigation, not Coach Cal!

http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/2009/basketball/ncaa/05/27/memphis.ncaa.ap/index.html

I do believe the NCAA when it says that it's not investigating Coach Cal for ANY violation, this all falls onto R.C. Johnson and Memphis! But if I were to say anything, I don't care HOW Coach Cal gets his recruits, just as long as UK has them! ;)... hahahaha.. -Tyler

PS: Sorry to hijack this thread, hopefully it can get back track from here!

Cal is nor being looked into but wherever he goes recruitment scandal follows, remember Camby at UMass plus how close he is to William Wesley the basketball power broker??? Hhmmmmm. :)

Brandon,

Allan

It's pretty large, our fenceline and "usable" haunt area is somewhere around 200 x 400ft and the maze is just shy of 5000 sq ft (124' x 40'). We used to cover it with a massive tarp and roof trusses, however since 04 we have not. If we cover it now, the inspector considers it an enclosed space and would require it to be sprinkled even though there is absolutely no source of ignition in the maze, no power, etc. So, needless to say, we no longer cover it. Probably 1/5 of the haunt is outdoor and we advertise it as such, I'm not overly concerned about some patrons getting a light sprinkle. We only seem to get one decent rainstorm a season, so it hasn't been much of an issue.

We also used to tear down the entire maze at the end of every season, stack the panels and then rebuild it every year. We stopped doing that a few years ago when we realized that patrons don't memorize the maze and as such, we don't need to change it every year. :)

The picture is very distorted.
That temporary canopy is right tight to the side of the house not 50 feet away from it as it seems to be in that picture. The shape of the house is very symetrical, the cupola on the roof IS NOT way off to one side it's centered and looks like a real house not some kid's cardboard box whittled on with a jack knife!(that display is in the backyard.) hahahah! no it isn't.
This picture was taken over a year and a half ago, see my new 4 door Jeep? See the 2001 Blazer we were trying to sell? See the Nissan Pumpkin-faced truck? It's junked out now, rusted in half, saved the decorations. See me naked in the cupola window?
Of course not, unless my powers of hypnotic suggestion are stronger than your will to rationalise on your own! You do want to see me naked then!?
Not you lucky day.

If you check out the google map on darkness you'll see the big hole in the ground that is now our new section of the building. Back in October it was still a hole... it goes to show that they don't remap things often. Because our new building has been a building in some form since the end of October.
