View Full Version : Motion Sensors...

Anyone know of any great motion sensor how to's? I did a forum search, not much came up here. I've seen DeathLords but not really wanting to hack or resolder them. Just simple wiring and plug it in.
Any thoughts, links or advise much appreciated.

You could try evilusion or frightprops, they should have something that could work.

It was a while ago, but I think I read that you can add a basic lamp plug to a motion sensor security light, then use a screw in plug socket into one of the light receptacle and that would control a prop?
I would like to see something like that if anyone knows of a link to the how to or explain to me how to do it. Sometimes when it comes to wiring things I just a need a visual at least the first time to fully see it, if that makes sense.;) I think I have the concept of it. just need to make sure what I'm thinking is correct way to hook it up.
What I want this to control is a monster in a box pop up. As of now its just set up for a manual flip switch. I would like to get rid of that so I can do other things.

Thx ! Nightmare Tance.
the first link listed is exactly what I was looking for. I messed around with that some yesterday and think that'll do just fine. This is just for a front yard prop, but I hadn't messed with sensors much, so sometimes on wiring I get confused or takes me longer to figure....lol. So good visuals always help. thanks again.
