Thanks for the link, Tanner.
I'd love to see a completed seminar schedule for TransWorld come out soon.
I'll probably go, regardless (already reserved the hotel), but I'm looking for some specific educational offerings this...
It looks like it was made by Scarefactory, which is in Columbus, Ohio.
I don't see it in their online catalog, and the video is dated 8/18/2014, so it may be something they will unveil at TransWorld...
Stay safe, Larry.
A study in detailing and distressing.
I've seen your work before, Kent, and it's awesome.
I'm just a lowly home haunter with no budget, but I wanted to let you know I love your work.
Your link didn't post right.
We're a home haunt / walkthrough, but we do track attendance.
So far, Saturdays see about a 20% increase in crowd size over Fridays.

Something like a survey of your patrons, or like someone else mentioned, have them...
Haven't done it, but it seems to me that advertising your haunt to a target audience that has shown itself to enjoy going out and spending money to be entertained is a pretty safe bet.
I know a lot of you guys and gals have multiple attractions on the same site, or team with other haunts in your area to offer multiple haunts for a single, reduced ticket price.
Can anyone tell...
Good to know.
Sounds like the kid accidentally shot himself while messing around.
Guns are always, always, always loaded. To treat them any other way can be deadly.
I know that Allen uses alcohol based airbrush make up (European Body Art - Endura).

I, too, have been putting up and taking down panels every year. For me, it's been since 2007. We have about 5%-10% replacement...
Despite my rather discouraging first reply to your question, I really do wish you luck too.
I'd love to see as many people open successful haunted attractions as possible because that's...
Haunted attractions don't typically turn a profit until the 3rd year, if they last that long (60% of all businesses fail within 3 to 5 years).
Also, there is some debate, but most haunted...
I haven't run a professional haunt, so this is based on what I've read, heard, and calculated:
At first thought, I'd opt for the warehouse because of its proximity to the customer base.
