I've found these rules from someone else on the other forum... Here's what they posted on the other horror forum shown below:

    1. No smoking, eating, or drinking!

    2. Please leave any items. (EX- backpacks, purses, cups, etc) at the entrance because we don't want anyone tripping and falling, even possibly stealing anything from us.

    3. Please don't touch our creatures (I mean our Haunters), they won't touch you.

    4. Anyone willfully damaging the haunt, will be thrown out and possibly not invited back next year. If you are asked to leave and don't, the police will be notified.

    5. Lighting and Sound effects are used throughout the haunt.

    6. If you become too frightened and can't continue on tour, please come back to the entrance. For easily frightened Adults and children ask the doorperson about the "chicken clause". An attendant will turn on the house lights and accompany the patron through the haunt personally.

Yes, that was true! My uncle and I chatted with the haunt tour guider, he insisted that about several years ago, some teenagers, even adults stealing something from their haunt place. They stole wooden stakes, brick blocks, a rope for hanging up, etc.

Stealing and vandalism seem to happen when there are just too many customers in the house, some of the dishonest ones realise that everyone can't be watched, this is where video cameras are very worthwhile, they make alot of people alot more dependably "honest".
We live in the haunted house. "Everything " simply can not be screwed down (or glued down)
A few years ago some guy stole my(ex) wife, it was her fault, she wouldn't let me screw her down!

I had a large piece of fake fur stapled to the wall in a dark maze with a million staples holding it. Someone pulled it off and must have jammed it under their coat. Yow!

In one October someone stole two masks from me from the second floor of my house.
One was a thickly cast Batman cowl mask(before the cheaper ones came out) it had been fastened to the manniquin pretty securely (I thought)
The other mask was a big-headed purple alien mask that I could never find a replacement for anywhere!
Masks do fit under a winter coat and they can also be thrown out an open upstairs window to their buddys waiting in the parking lot down below.
"Don't bother to steal anything small while you are here tonight because the total body cavity searches will be conducted at the end of the tour by Uncle "Nervous" Norbert, the man with the "Twitchy Digit"..."My God, he has fingers like Tree Stumps!" (I don't say this to every October group, but being so outrageous does get their attention and possibly makes a point concerning what I am trying to communicate:"Don't Steal!"

That's great! Some of your guys had very brilliant idea to prevent the haunt thieves from stealing your stuffs! Yeah, I understand there are some security cameras everywhere in the rooms, walls, ceilings, doorknobs, etc.... some of you have glued up and nailed them tighten against the wall or on the floor, etc... One problem, we (my uncle and I) attended the Haunted Forest every year in October. They don't have any security cameras, something goods to prevent from the haunt thieves, you know? Well, this Oct we will go there again to see how improvement they are and how they do this better than before...
