Thought I share this with everyone. Some of our cast and crew wanted to do a web series around our haunt, and I thought it would be a good marketing element in our reality-tv world. Here are the first two episodes. If you want to see the ones in the future subscribe to our new You Tube channel DarkWood Manor You Tube Channel

Great job! You guys remind me of McKamey Manor before they moved. It's good to see good home haunts like yours pushing the envelope and being creative. The homemade costumes and props only adds to your appeal. I've been to some home haunts that has Scarefactory animatronics and CFX silicone masks, but sometimes they lose the charm of a home haunt.

Hope to see more videos from you guys!

Thanks! But we are not a home haunt. DarkWood operates in 10,000 square foot building and everything we do is completely on a professional level. We create everything ourselves, because that is what we enjoy doing.

Louis sorry about that I saw the duct tape costume and some of the masks and I assumed its a home haunt lol
    Your sets look nice though.

With the scare you called a holly hole, did you ever have any problems with the actor there getting kicked? I remember the former haunt I worked at did a scene somewhat like that but people seemed to target them when rough housing.

That pop out was specifically built for one of our actors who happens to be a little person. She could walk out of it without any trouble, and being on her feet allowed her to avert any problems with rough customers.
And, we never have to many problems with customers being rough in general. I have off duty police officers working security and they make it well known that anyone causing trouble will get escorted out and possibly arrested.
Also, that is not a duct tape costume. It is just a cheap fast way to make a body form so that he can build muscle suit on top of it that will be custom fitted to his body. In the past I have sprung for the materials to do full life cast of actors in order to create custom fitted costumes, but I no longer think the expense is worth it. Custom fit work is really only necessary for film. Even the queue actors perform under forgiving lighting conditions.
I'm sure they will highlight his progress in later episodes as he builds his werewolf costume. It should be interesting. This is his first large project and he is pretty excited about it.
