There is no way in hell I would let that brat in the house!

Even if you have cameras and press charges and all that, you would *still*
    get your stuff destroyed *again*.

And a personal escort through the haunt, just so *he* won't get pissed off??
No. You should NEVER have to put up with this behavior, much less
    mollycoddle the little brat!

Shawnc's recommendation is good, in that people should have to leave
masks off. They're not going to want them while going through the
    haunt, anyway.

If you notify the police beforehand, and give them the whole story, I'll
bet they'll be glad to help.

When the kid tries to get it, you refuse entry and tell the scumbag that
if he decides he'd like to cause trouble, that's fine because you have
already told the cops about him.

And if you do happen to have surveillance cameras, great! Use them.

Post a sign out front saying that all activity on the grounds are being monitored for security purposes. Regardless of wether or not you really are monitoring if you put a no mask rule into effect the threat of that kind of surveillance or force should be enough. I mean its helped to keep troubelsome youths out of my haunt.

A kid that is constantly getting himself hurt (for attention?) and is always in trouble or getting troubled by other kids beating on him(for usually very good reasons)
Such a kid came through my house one October and proceeded to kick every male employee he met in the nuttz! Just because he could! And was too small to punch out.
I told his Grandmother he was never allowed to come in here again. This worked.
It is a small town. Maybe that's why it worked?
I predicted more than just a few times that I would be very surprised if he ever lived to see his 18th birthday...then maybe they found the right tranqs. or something, he grew physically up and has seemed to have calmed down , become a more social person, in a normal way.
    We all hope........

That reminds me of a time i went to a haunt with my nephew. ((Because hes a haunt freak...like me!)) and an actor scared him, and i dont know if it was out of reflex, perhaps our of fear? But he then proceeded to deliver a swift kick to the actors....danger zone hahahaha and i swear the actor clicked his fingers twice and these two samoan guards, they were HUGE i mean BIG guys came in and escorted us out of the haunt...it was pretty interesting...

One Halloween, my brother and I were handing out candy, and
a couple of young guys came up - probably around 13 years old -
and they hesitated for a second, and neither one of them said
    "trick or treat."

Then, a second later, one of them reached out and punched me.
    Then they ran off.

My brother and I were so stunned that we both just sat there
staring at each other through our witch and werewolf masks.

I was wearing a long, hooded cloak. The boys probably couldn't
see that I was five months pregnant.

I simply walk up to the offender and tell him/her to leave. I tell them that I am in charge and that they are leaving or they are being arrested.

End of conversation. they know that they are out of line and they are taking advantage of your good will.

Your other guests will probably appreciate it that you demand people act in an appropriate manner.

When wearing certain types of clothing, like a cape securely fastened around your neck!
I found this lesson waiting for me when I put a hand upon the drunk's shoulder and asked him to leave.
We tussled toward the door, we got outside, I figured I had the surprise advantage over him if I acted quickly , with speed. I ran him backwards along the side of my house for about 35 feet, then he unwisely decided to pull me down on top of him , he put himself on the upside-down steel rail road ties that comprise a bench at the corner of my house "(This HAD to hurt, even for a drunkie!)
So there we lay, on the bench, me on top (my usual position ) him on his back beneath me, looking up, screaming how he is going to kill me, ex cetra...
He still had a hold of my twisted cape, I couldn't really move. I said, "The first thing that you have to do is figure out how to get up!"
I looked up and there stood the Chief of Police, he had been driving passed when we came bursting from the house.
I have posted here before about this and was scoulded for "touching" him.
This is my house. I own it. I had just watched and listened to his drunken threats to punch his own , sober cousin while they were in my kitchen, after he began spitting on the floor and refused to stop, my Wife was standing close to these two, in possibly harm's way if the punches began and they were all three infront of antique built- in kitchen cabinents that have normal glass windows, waiting to slice and dice "somebody", Drunkie, his sober relative or my Wife!
It WAS time for him to leave!
Some of my helpers happened to see this all happen and were impressed by" the old guy"!(Me)
This being impressed was something to hear coming from the hugely muscled youngman I had working here that night.
