Now that the new year is here, production on the new CD 'Dark Hollow', composed by Virgil Franklin and produced by Rick Whitlow, is in full swing. Two new samples have been added to downloads page on the official site, http://darkwiredesign.com/darkhollow/downloads.html

Check them out and let us know what you think .

The CD is scheduled to be released in February 2006.

Very cool - I particularly liked Catacombs. The other tracks seem more movie-soundtrack oriented, whereas I could picture Catacombs playing in the background of a scene and really augmenting the atmosphere...

Glueing a comb to my pant leg for my cat would maybe do a nicer job of arranging his hair on his back when he rubbs up against me.
I wonder if anyone has patented this yet?

Another fabulous post from the U.S.Department of Wild Imaginings, now in spectaclar stereo, sponsored by the Adhesives and Sealants Council, suggesting ways to stick things together since the 1800s. Not fabulous in a gay way. Your results may vary. Illinois residents add 8% sales tax. Jack,

I'm sure you will be able to buy it without purchasing online when the album is completed.

I like the samples so far. It makes me want more ofthe album. It is very different than I am used to out of you and such...but I like that, it shows me you evolve and create continuously. It def. adds a spark of imagination while listening to the samples.

    Thanks Jon!

I really wanted to take some different directions with
    the next few CD's.

It helps to have another set of ears and that's
why Rick Whitlow is there in the production chair.

It becomes a give and take situation between
artist and producer with the outcome, hopefully,
being, at the very least, different than it would have
been had I self produced the project.

That said, it's very important that we hear from haunters
about this project as they are a large part of the
    Virgil fan base!!
