Sorry for the poor description, but . . .

I am looking for a how to on the illusion of a vertical half "eaten" body. The effect has the actors head and arms and maybe part of the chest. From there down its prop and I assume mirror based illusion which pretty much ends in a bloody spine hanging. I thick Headless horseman hayride had one at one point.

    Thanks in advance.

This is a fairly simple illusion... all you need is:

-Wood for a box and stand
    -Paint/wallpaper
-2 square mirrors (must be exactly the same)
    -Spinal chord, painted

I've attached a simple diagram of how the illusion is created... Simple put the bloody spinal chord were the two mirrors meet in the middle. Use a jacket and an attached shirt/vest to blend in the spinal chord "into the actor" to really pull off the sell.

    I hope this helps. -Tyler

No problem.... and I have no idea were it came from. I just googled what you were looking for, found it, posted it. I think it came from a newspaper actually!
