Make sure all the actors are in screaming distance of security or another actor. I know it sounds stupid but i have been in an occasion where a knife was involved. Lucky i am a fast runner. There was NO ONE in shouting distance, I was really dissapointed. I had to run to the next room and warn them then i sprinted to the front of the maze and called for security. The problem was they were watching the Q line, and the concession counter. Not doing their jobs, make sure they patrol or something. Luckily no one was hurt and the man was dealt with.

We have panic buttons installed in every room, so if there is any issue the actor simply presses the button and the security system display which room has the issue.

This has helped with attempted vandalism, rowdy drunks, etc.
